Label Owner Setting up Instructions

Step 1
Sign up for a account - To sign up for a new account, please follow the link from our home page. Once you have signed up, you will need to activate your account by clicking on the email verification link that will have been emailed to you. Your email address will be your log in for IMOdownload, you will need this to upload tracks, download tracks, check sales and generate invoices. (Screenshot)

Step 2
Add a new label – From your menu located on the right hand side, please select add a new label. Here you can add a new label and also select weather you wish to be responsible for MCPS or not. (If you already have the label listed, then please skip this step, you can check weather you have a label listed by click on ‘list my labels’ from the menu located on the right) (Please do not use symbols such as ‘ ! “ % ^ * this will alert you there is an error) (Screenshot)

Step 3
Add a track to that label – This is located within your menu on the right of the site when logged in. Please fill in basic details here such as track name, Artist and catalogue number. Please make sure you select the correct label name if you have several labels. Step 4
Upload music files and image – Please enter the location of the music track you have entered details for on the previous page. Please ensure that you select the 192 and 320 kbs version to the correct place. You will also need to select the location of the sample clip and also the location of the image for the track whether it be a label default image or a image for that particular release. Once these have been filled in, please hit Upload. (The upload process may take several minutes as it uploads all the information to our server at once. Please do not interrupt this process as you may have to do it again. (Screenshot)

Step 5
Check and make live to the public - Once you have uploaded the files, go to the ‘edit files’ purple tab above the upload box. Here you will be able amend the finer details of the release before finally going to the bottom drop down box and choosing the ‘available to buy’ option. The track will now be made ‘live’ and will appear on the site ready for customers to download. (Screenshot)
